Inquiry

A corrugated-fin tank (also known as a corrugated tank) is an integrated pressure-bearing enclosure solution for oil-immersed distribution transformers. Its core feature is that the tank wall also serves as the heat-dissipation surface. The corrugated structure, cold-formed from steel plates, simultaneously performs three functions: sealed storage of insulating oil, natural heat dissipation, and compensation for thermal expansion and contraction of the oil volume. It often eliminates the need for traditional external accessories such as conservator tanks (oil pillows) and breathers. It is the mainstream technical solution for small and medium-sized distribution transformers, currently accounting for more than 68% of the domestic 10~35 kV distribution transformer market.

Its key advantages are an integrated and compact design, strong space adaptability, fully sealed maintenance-free operation, high operational reliability, significant lifecycle cost benefits, stable heat dissipation, and ample safety margin.

Typical Application Scenarios

Urban and rural 10kV/35kV distribution network upgrades, especially decentralized power supply sites in rural and mountainous areas where maintenance is inconvenient.

Space-constrained installation scenarios, such as pole-mounted transformers, American-style box-type substations, and indoor distribution rooms.

Terminal distribution transformers for industrial and mining enterprises, commercial buildings, and residential communities.

Scenarios with high requirements for deployment efficiency and maintenance-free operation, such as temporary construction power supply and supporting facilities for distributed photovoltaic grid connection.
